We wrote before some recipes for a healthy fast breakfast. However, we can’t have the same meals over and over again. So here we are to present some new ideas to have various healthy meals. I hope you will enjoy making them for you and your family.

1 First of all, you can eat something raw with fiber plus high nutrition food and something healthy to drink with a high source of energy to be able to go through the day till lunchtime without getting tired. It could be something such as a plain doughnut with chocolate milk. It’s a plain cake of doughnut which could be a better choice than a bakery muffin as it has 280 calories, while a corn muffin has 510 calories. Add fiber by eating ¼ cup of raw nuts or fruits such as almonds or dried fruit. Instead of coffee or tea, try a small cup of low-fat chocolate milk. I think it’s a lovely meal to have for breakfast.

2 The second idea of having a healthy nutrient breakfast for today is to have a fast strawberry shake. You can prepare it in a cocktail shaker by combining a packet of vanilla or strawberry breakfast powder (look for the no-sugar-added kind) and 1 cup of low-fat strawberry milk or soy milk. If you have time, use a blender to add strawberries or a frozen banana. (You can also prepare this mixture the night before having this shake).

You should also consider an energy bar as a substitution for a meal as it could be the solution to have three to five grams of fiber and 10 grams of protein without needing to prepare anything. It works for both kids and adults to be a meal substitution and has the same nutrition in the normal breakfast meals. Use these bars when you don’t have time to prepare anything or if you got up late and need to go to work as soon as possible. It is also useful for kids if you couldn’t make something for them someday.

4 This meal needs a little preparation unlike the former one. It’s called a cereal sundae. You should place fiber-rich bran flakes in a bowl of (about 1½ cups) with a small cup of low-fat milk. I consider this meal as the perfect breakfast you could have in the morning. You can also replace the milk with lemon or vanilla yogurt and mix them in a container. Increase the fiber and vitamins by adding ¼ cup of fresh blueberries or dried fruit.

I guess now that we all have some new ideas to have a healthy breakfast. These ideas work both for our children and us at the same time as they have fiber, protein and energy sources. What else might we need? I hope you enjoy having and preparing for breakfast from now on. Good luck!
