Jon-Carlos Evans is a New York-based writer/director and multimedia artist born in St. Louis, MO. After obtaining a B.A. in Film Production from Webster University, he worked for KDHX-TV in St. Louis as an editor and media instructor. Then, after directing & producing the First Annual St. Louis Music Awards, Jon-Carlos moved to New York City to obtain his MFA in Film/Video at the City College of New York. His credits include the award-winning shorts From New York, Smile, and Salvation (Without You), which have screened in festivals in both the United States and Europe. Currently, he is in the beginning stages of his first narrative feature and releasing an album with his audiovisual band Reverse Bullets.
