Randy Scott Slavin is an award-winning director whose music video for Group Sounds “Temporarily in Love,” recently won the Special Jury Award at the 2008 South By Southwest Film Festival, the Audience choice award at the First Sundays Film festival, Best Music Video at the Coney Island Film festival, was presented in the Cannes Film festivals Short film corner, and has been screened at numerous other festivals.

Slavin began his directing career with music videos and had his first taste of the power of the internet in 2005 when his video for Group Sounds “Things Fall Apart” leaked and went “viral” crashing his server with over a million views in 2 day period. In early 2007, Slavin was chosen as one of the top 50 finalists from a worldwide search of over 12,000 to participate in the TV series entitled “On The Lot” which was the brainchild of renowned filmmaker Steven Speilberg and reality tv Mogul Mark Burnett. Most recently Slavin has been directing music videos, sketch comedy, and viral pieces for companies such as MTV, Heavy, Frito Lay, Universal, and others.

Slavin comes from an extensive background in editing episodic television, promos, and PSA’s for clients such as Spike TV, MTV, AMC, The Food Network, Animal Planet, BET, Speed Channel, Sports Illustrated, Atlantic Records, and The Discovery Channel.
