There are many and different ways to apply eye make up in 8 simple steps with different colors and eye shapes.

The first thing you should do is to apply a concealer that looks similar to your eye skin or a little lighter if you have dark halos around your eyes.

The second step (could be 1st one) is to put an eye base on the eyelids which keeps the eyeshadow in its place for a long time without fading or scatter around the eyes when you spend the whole day outside.

Applying base or lighter eyeshadow on the eyelids is the 3rd thing you should do to make the eye looks bright and shiny than the rest of the face skin.

After placing the lighter eyeshadow color on your eyes, you should use a different and darker one on the outer part of the eye and you could make an angle with the darker eyeshadow color to make your eyes look wider and more elegant.

Note: you can use this technique in the evening, events or even special parties.

Then apply the eyeliner on the eyelashes, or you can use a pencil if you prefer a thick layer of the eyeliner on your eyes especially in the evenings. You can skip this step if you used a darker eyeshadow color on the upper lid like in the smoky eyes makeup.

Now you can use eyebrows highlighter on the bones of the eyebrows above the eyelids to show a bigger space between the eyes and the eyebrows, especially for women who don’t have enough space between their eyes and eyebrows to applying a proper makeup.

After that, shape your eyebrows the way you want them to be (thin or thick) by using an eyebrow pencil whether black or brown according to your hair color, your clothes and your make up.

Lastly, apply the mascara on the upper and bottom eyelashes to make them look thick and beautiful. You can also use mascara on the artificial eyelashes although I don’t see a need for them if you use the mascara.
